Is anybody else singing the song from "Mary Poppins" after reading the last post?
Cast off the shackels of yesterday!
Shoulder to shoulder into the fray!
Our daughter's daughter will adore us,
And they'll sing in grateful chorus...
Well Done,
Sister Suffragette!
Well if you weren't before, you're singing it now (unless you don't know this song, in which case you need to watch Mary Poppins asap because you obviously didn't get to see it enough in your childhood in order to memorize all the songs).

Yup, singing the song. Also:
"Well we were sufferin until sufferage!
Not a woman here could vote no matter what age!
Til the 19th amendment struck down that restrictive rule.
And now we pull down, on the lever
cast our ballot, as we endeavor
to improve our country,
state, county, town and schoo-ool."
School House Rock, baby.
Did I get the title line correct? As the younger sibling I don't remember things as well as you. :)
Actually, no, you got it wrong. It's "as a GROUP", not a race. I wasn't going to point it out. Cuz I'm the nice one.
I didn't think I was right because race didn't sound right, but I couldn't think of what it was. I needed to sing the whole song but I can't do it without you to fill in the blanks. Big old Jed had a light on!
Wait a second...if you're "the nice one", what does that make me?
Um, you're the one with all the guilt? Maybe you are the patient one - you have to be with three boys.
