Marriage is great!
We all have our annoying habits that drive our spouses crazy. If I asked TGD about mine I think I could tell you his response, well, besides the fact that we don't have sex as often as he'd like - but I think we can all agree that that answer would be #1 for most husbands (besides the guys a couple of my friends are married to. They don't know how good they have it.). No, I think mine would be the fact that I don't change the toilet paper roll when it runs out. I just set the new one next to the toilet or on the tank and leave the empty cardboard roll on. Yes, I am that lazy. It drives TGD nuts, but so does the way he "picks up" toys. So I guess we're even.

I have recently been setting my husband up to see how long it will actually take him before HE changes the roll. He was the last to use the remaining paper on the roll. He didn't replace it on the roll, didn't ever bring out a new one (that still makes me wonder if he was adequately clean...ewwww!)
So I set a new one on the counter and that was 4 (count them 4) rolls ago. So every time he uses that toilet for the necessary reasons he has to pick up the roll and unwind it instead of just rolling conveniently. I am NOT going to put it on the roll. I want to see how long it would really take. It kind of reminds me of that Everyone Loves Raymond episode where neither one would empty the suitcase!!!

I think that they DO share a bathroom! There would be a fight goin down at my house if he never put a roll on the holder. I am constantly turning it around so it rolls off the front (drives me nuts to have it roll off the back of the roll) and I'm fine with that because that's just me being way too picky. But, put the darn thing on the holder. To heck with social experiments, Lisa, bring out the boxing gloves.
Well it's a good thing none of ya'll are married to me! I do get annoyed if the tp is facing the wrong direction - but so does TGD so there's no problem there. I figure not putting the tp roll on is a small thing so I shrug it off if it makes TGD annoyed. There's plenty of things around the house that annoy the shit out of me (like the linen closet never staying organized because he can't remember where everything goes and what direction to fold the towels).
You will never guess what happened this morning....the roll was changed!
Either he read this blog or he figured it out. I about shit my pants - which would have needed the toilet paper so thank god it was FINALLY on the roll!
